WAYS TO START A SMALL BUSINESS WHEN YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHERE TO BEGIN

When I started my first business, I was not sure how far it would go. It wasn’t until two years in that I realized the importance of proper planning when starting a business from scratch. If you want to start a business and have no idea where to start, you need a guide to help. There is no harm in starting a business just for the sake of making money, but if you want long-term sustainability in your business, you need some basic guidelines for that. Here’s how to start a business from scratch when you really have no idea where to begin.

Start with Something You’re Passionate About

Passion alone can move mountains for you. There is no replacement for a man with a passion. People can steal your ideas; they can steal your words; they can even steal your products; but when it comes to business, no one can steal your passion and drive.

If you find yourself making excuses about why your new venture should wait, these four tips can help you gain confidence and make a firm decision.

 1. Decide if you’re truly passionate. “(Entrepreneurship) is not for everyone,” Zhao says. It may sound like a sexy career, but the reality is that it takes self-motivation and fortitude. If it isn’t for you, that’s okay. “Be honest with yourself about whether you have the tenacity to be an entrepreneur,” says Paula Caligiuri, a psychologist and author of Get a life, not a Job (FT Press, 2010). “You’ll eventually need it to push yourself beyond your comfort zone and persevere when the tasks become challenging.”

Ultimately, passion drives that momentum. “Taking the successful leap requires both caution and passion,” Zhao says.

2. Get to know your market. Before launching a new venture, scope out your competitors, get to know your customers, and meet entrepreneurs that you might emulate. “Success requires expertise with the product and market, as well as careful planning and execution,” Zhao explains.

Ehlers launched her shop on Etsy before quitting her job, which helped her assess the demand. “When I saw (business) was consistent, I put my two weeks in,” she says.

3. Create a safety net. If you’re serious about starting your own business, save up the resources you’ll need in order to succeed. “Lack of time and debt are the two greatest pitfalls that prevent people from starting a new gig,” Caligiuri says.

At first, cut out TV time in favor of business planning and curb unnecessary spending. Ehlers didn’t quit her job until she saved enough money to cover two months of costs, a precaution that helped reduce her pre-launch anxiety.

4. Turn to family and friends for support. The people closest to you can be a vital resource as you prepare to start a new venture. “Encouragement from trusted family members and friends will help build entrepreneurial self-efficacy,” Zhao says.

They can also help you identify your strengths and weaknesses. “Many people cannot name their own natural talents,” Caligiuri says. “Family and friends can help us see what we are good at and what our challenges might be as entrepreneurs

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life. So, make sure you do something that you’ll love to do. Don’t settle for anything less than your happiness. Life is lived once, make sure you make the most of it by doing something you love.

Research Your Market

So, now that you know what you want to do in your business, it’s time to start with the research. Explore Google keywords that relate to your business and see what people are doing.

You can either pick something that people are already doing, but you are certain that you can improve the existing business model. Or you can pick something and start it from scratch with some new innovation.

Set Financial Goals

Sure, you didn’t start your business solely for money, but to keep your business sustainable, you need to set realistic goals. Start with small goals and work your way up. Start with everyday goals. Make sure each action you take does something that brings you closer to your grand goal.

Make the Content Shareable

Many entrepreneurs feel like creating a website and developing content is enough to get things going. But in reality, you need to make that content stick. With that content you need to address the need, the pain point of the customer, or help the customer realize how your product or service can solve their problem.

Build a Following

When you start your business, make sure you influence those few individuals that can use your product and say something good about you. It is not just about making a product and selling it; it is about creating a product that people will love to share with others.

Start with an email list. Provide updates about your product and do educational blog posts addressing the pain points of your users. For now, this might seem simple, but once you start, this will be complex. This is why you need to plan things before anything goes south.

Launch Something You Can Sell

It is okay to start with something you love. But you need to learn how to sell it properly. Take some courses on branding and educate yourself with selling basics. Learn how to pitch your product to the customers. These are simple things that create a huge impact on sales.

If you’re willing to launch something that is totally new, make sure you follow the first tip and research your target market before you start selling your product.

Start with WHY

Simon Sinek forces businesses to start with their WHY. WHY they are selling what they are selling. Know your WHY of business. What is your USP that no one else can provide? And what are customers going to get if they purchase from you?

Knowing WHY you’re in business is an important step when starting your business from scratch. Because no matter if you realize it now or not, sooner or later you will be on your way to figure out the WHY of your business.

In closing, many entrepreneurs think that making a lot of money is the fun part. Well, sorry to disappoint, but it is not. The fun part is the process of learning. The process which makes you a better person. Once you get that flavor of self-transformation, you’ll never see entrepreneurship the same way again.

Poverty Is The Parent Of Revolution And Crime

Is poverty a curse or a blessing in disguise? The answer to this question lies in our attitude towards poverty. It depends on what we consider poverty. George Bernard Shaw says if one is going to let the fear of poverty govern their life and their reward will be that they will eat, but they will not live. If we consider poverty as a curse, there would be no harm in it. If we take up poverty as a challenge and fight it tooth and nail; it is really an opportunity to show our caliber. It would turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

Poverty compels one to work hard. Poverty makes one give his or her best. Necessity is the mother of invention. Emerging out of poverty is nothing but rising up from a scratch. It is not easy for men to rise whose qualities are thwarted by poverty. Poverty is a rich experience. One can really be proud of self-provided he or she extricate themselves from poverty with their efforts. It is an achievement. It is a dream becoming a reality. One can pat their back themselves for their achievement. It needs hard work, patience, and a little bit of luck too. One requires qualities like patience, forbearance, and fortitude to overcome poverty. It is an achievement under adverse circumstances. Their achievement proves that money is not everything. It is through poverty we come to know what life is.

We face most of the difficulties of life mostly while combating poverty only. We come to know about the value of money and have the best lessons of our life while facing poverty only. Sometimes, we come across humiliation in poverty. Many poor people have an inferiority complex too. There is hardly any downward journey after poverty. Here is a real story. Bharath Beedi Works provides a substantial income to poor families of Karkala. One can sit at home and do the work and earn. It is preparing beedies with tendu leaves.

Mr. Pai was from a poor family. He was earning by tying beedies for his education. His family was so big that it seems people were hesitating to call them for dinner. He studied hard and worked hard. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in commerce in 1968. He passed the CAIIB examination in 1969. In 1970, he became an officer in a bank. Thereafter, he climbed the ladder of hierarchy in his career path. He became manager, divisional manager, assistant general manager, deputy general manager, and general manager. He is a self-made man. He passed the LL B examination even. It is a success story. There are numerous such success stories.

Why Poverty Is The Parent Of Revolution And Crime!

Generally, poverty nobody welcomes. There are people who do not consider the poor as their equal. They forget even the fact that the poor are human beings like them. This is really a grave blunder on their part for which they have to repent one day or another. Every effort is being made to eradicate the poverty world over. One can understand better what really poverty is only after confronting it. There are some parts of the world where poor people even eat mud to survive. About thirty percent of our population is living below the poverty line. The majority of them earn less than a dollar a day. Though there is an increase in gross domestic product, it is rich people who are becoming richer and poor remaining as it is in condition. It is poverty, which divides society into classes. It is the economical divide amongst us. Nobody likes to be born to a poor family.

Poor are denied many of the comforts of life. There are various degrees of poverty. Some do not have the means to have two square meals a day or proper clothes to wear. Some do not have money to meet the medical expenses of the family. Some could not even send their children to school due to the paucity of funds. Poverty develops an inferiority complex among most of the poor people. Though the law prohibits child labor, most of the poor children start working right from their childhood.

Sometimes, parents unable to feed their children due to poverty desert them. Unfortunately, it is poor people who have more children and more mouths to feed. Some even could not purchase the bare necessities of life. Some do not have a shelter to live in. They are unable to rent a house even. They live under trees, or on footpaths, or on any vacant place under the sky. Society is such that it evaluates man not by virtues, talent, and intelligence but by the riches. Poverty compels sometimes people to tread the wrong path. Some steal to provide medicines for their ailing children. One cannot even imagine where poverty would lead a man.

Man would be made to stoop to a low level by poverty. Some ladies become prostitutes to fill their bellies. Some even kill another man for the sake of money. Most of the poor people are always on the lookout for ways and means to come out of poverty. That is why it is said that necessity is the mother of inventions. There are instances where geniuses are born in slums. But such people have to toil at every stage of life to come up. There are instances where though some are intellectually not poor, they fade away unknown due to their poor financial status. Poverty is always filled with difficulties and miseries too. Difficulties of various dimensions confront the individual. Some die of hunger even. People say money makes many things but in reality, it is poverty that does everything. Unable to bear poverty, some commit even suicide.

There are some rich people who exploit poor people. This is one of the reasons for the birth of communism also. Poverty is the parent of revolution and crime. Many rich people know what poverty is. But to poor people, richness is a distant reality only. It is just like a treasure inside a mirror to them. Sometimes rich people have to learn hospitality, benevolence, etc from the poor people who are magnanimous though they do not have adequate resources. Where there is richness, there are friends and relatives just like bees surrounding the honey? It is poor people who suffer a lot from calamities and catastrophes. Poor people do not get always proper nutritious balanced food and proper sanitation etc. As such, they are prone to diseases like malaria, plague, cholera, tuberculosis, and other diseases. By and large, poor people’s wants are limited and when their wants are satisfied, they become really complacent. The majority of them adapt very well to the circumstances. In case, fortune smiles on a few, they should remember what they were and should be in a position to understand others’ difficulties. In that case, only their having led life, as a poor man would be worthwhile. Poor people are generally a little educated or illiterate. Without knowing the pros and cons, sometimes they fall prey to vices. Their meager income is diverted to drinking, gambling, etc and as a result, they become penniless and their entire family gets affected. It would be a miracle if they come out of this precarious situation. Poor people generally have to earn their bread on a day-to-day basis. At least, with this intention, they have to think daily of tomorrow. Poverty and labor go hand in glove.

Most of the poor people work for others in order to earn wages so that they could take care of their families. In the process, they have to toil like an animal. Generally, rich people utilize the helpless position of the poor to their advantage. They engage poor people as bonded laborers. Man is sold to another man just like a commodity. Poverty and richness are not permanent. They are two sides of a coin. Wheel of fortune rotates. Some rich people become poor and similarly, some poor people become rich. Those poor people who become rich may not find it difficult in adjusting to their new life except how to enjoy their increased resources. But, the plight of the rich that become poor is very difficult to explain. It is really deplorable. Having enjoyed all the comforts and luxuries of life, now without them, they would feel helpless. They become desperate. They find it hard to adjust to a new way of life. Those people, who were once showering all praises on them, now look upon them with scant respect. On a number of occasions, they feel insulted or their feelings get wounded. They become desperate. Even we onlookers feel sorry for them and pray that such a plight should not come even to our enemy. Instead of facing such a situation, we feel that poverty right from the beginning is far better. Hence the saying that a servant can become a lord and live but a lord cannot become a servant and live.

In this pandemic period there are children who don’t study due to the new system we call “Online Classes”. Leaders are unaware of such decision because they think that everyone has all the possibilities of accessing online classes like their children.

Now is the time to know if it’s possible to eradicate poverty!

6 Key Principles For Building Wealth

6 Key Principles for Building Wealth

Do you understand how money works?

We buy stuff and we sell stuff using money. It seems pretty simple, right? If money is so simple, why do the bottom 50% of people have a combined negative net worth?!

If you’re not entirely sure what your own net worth is, you’re going to want to continue reading.

What I’m going to breakdown here are the 6 key principles you need to learn to maximize your net worth (also known as getting richer). Also, if you read until the end, you’ll get free access to an incredible tool that’ll help you each step of the way.

6 Key Principles for Building Wealth

JOIN THIS LIFE CHANGING PROGRAM

1. Understand The purpose of money

Eating a dollar bill won’t do you any good. The only reason you want money is because you trust somebody else will value that piece of paper as much as you do when you want to purchase something.

At the end of the day, money represents and measures value. The difference between the rich and the poor is the ability to build value (wealth). If the point is to build as much value as possible, how should we invest our time? Better yet – how should we invest (spend) our money?

2. Identifying Common Money Pitfalls

Let’s face it – money’s been around for a while and businesses have mastered the art of convincing you to give it to them.

What you need to recognize is that you’re part of a large system that’s built on generating a profit. How do you beat the system? By making a profit for yourself!

Here are the common money pitfalls that help explain why People’s financial situation is so poor. We’re programmed to consume, not build wealth Ever heard of consumerism?

It’s that voice inside your head telling you to buy clothes even though you went shopping last weekend.

It’s browsing Amazon with no particular goal in mind. Consumerism is impulse purchases, buying unnecessary goods, glorifying material things, and “keeping up with the Jones’s”. Consumerism is the single biggest hindrance to your financial independence.

We don’t talk about money. Have you noticed how lots of non-wealthy people have negative views towards wealth? “Money isn’t everything,” they say. “Don’t be shallow”. And here’s the best one: “rich people are jerks!”

The strange part is that most people would love to be wealthy. I’ve never seen anyone ask their boss for less money. So why do we act like it’s a bad thing to openly discuss money or put too much daily emphasis on it? Don’t make financial mistakes out of ignorance.

Talking about money is one of the best ways to bounce ideas off others and get wealth-building insights. We’re not taught how money works A major misconception that holds people back from achieving their financial potential is the idea they need to trade their time for money.

We’re taught to go to school, get a job, work hard, and eventually we’ll become rich, right? Isn’t that Your dream?

The problem is that an increased salary does you no good if you increase your expenses at the same rate. If you don’t spend your money on things that hold value, increase in value, or generate income, you’re not building wealth. Another major oversight is dismissing the importance of interest. If you use interest to your advantage, you’re sure to grow your wealth. If you let yourself be a victim of it, you’ll be fighting uphill your entire life. Student loans, credit cards, and car loans are all tied to interest rates.

If you’re not careful, large balances can cripple your finances for decades.

3. Knowing how Money works

Building wealth is less about how much money you earn than how much money you keep.

Remember when I mentioned net worth earlier? It’s the fundamental key to building wealth.

Net Worth = Total Assets – Total Liabilities

An asset is anything that you own which maintains value and can bring you future cash flow.

A liability is anything that takes money out of your pocket.

When you look at your expenses, are you acquiring assets or liabilities? Do you own anything that’s helping you make more money?

4. Realizing financial Independence Is Possible

Financial independence has become a popular buzzword these days. People define it differently, but when I think of financial independence, I imagine living off the income from my assets without needing to work.

Here’s how you can make that happen:

Track your net worth Maximize your income Minimize your liabilities Make your money work for you (investments, businesses, etc.) When you understand the dynamics at play that can help you become financially independent, you take a huge step towards achieving that goal.

5. Minimizing Liabilities

Liabilities are bad; they’re a negative influence on your bank account.

Some common liabilities are: Rent/heating/electric/utilities Food expenses Student loans Insurance costs Mortgage payments.

Liabilities are the reason why you work so hard and don’t feel any richer for it. They give you short-term satisfaction but keep you from reaching your long-term goals. That’s why it’s incredibly important to create your own budget.

A great budget helps keep your liabilities in check, so you can spend your money on more assets. Want to know the worst type of liability? That, my friend, is debt. Debt Debt is money that you owe to another party, often paid back over time with interest. The total debt amount is made up of principal (original amount of the loan) plus interest.

Not all debts are created equal, however. Good debt is debt that someone else is paying for on your behalf, like a rental property. Fair debt is debt that can create future assets and/or have tax advantages.

Examples of this include student loan debt, a mortgage, or a business loan. Bad debt is consumer debt. It has no value and typically comes with high interest rates.

Take credit cards or car loans for example. To successfully navigate adulthood, you’ll need to fully understand these types of liabilities: Credit cards Taxes Student loans Luckily for you, there’s a free resource that can help you do just that.

6. Maximizing Assets

Your wealth is dependent upon what you do with your money. Poor people tend to spend their money on liabilities, while rich people invest in assets.

When you purchase an asset with the goal of increasing your future income, you’re investing.

Here are some of the benefits of investing:

Earn money while sleeping ,Protect against inflation ,Better returns than a savings account ,Tax advantages.

Here are some different types of investments: Stocks Index funds Mutual funds Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) Bonds Certificates of Deposits (CDs) Real Estate And more! Investing your money always comes with the risk of losing it. Still, it’s an incredibly powerful tool for making your money grow. If you have 45 minutes, you can learn how to invest like an expert.

6 Financial lessons from Rich Dad,Poor Dad

Financial lessons from Rich Dad, Poor Dad

In his bestselling book, Rich Dad, Poor Dad, the author, Robert Kiyosaki, explains the fundamental differences in the way his two fathers thought about money —

                     Watch

Here are 6 fundamental financial lessons from the book that can help you to build wealth and retire in comfort.

1. LEARN HOW TO MANAGE YOUR MONEY

Many people are able to make money, but not everyone learns how to manage it properly.

Financial intelligence starts with learning the difference between assets and liabilities.

By enhancing your savings and tracking your expenses, you can become aware of your spending patterns and ensure that you have more money coming in than going out, which is what will make you richer.

Many people make the mistake of thinking that earning more money will solve their financial problems, but this could only serve to compound them if your outgoings increase exponentially too.

2. MAKE MONEY WORK FOR YOU

A main point that Kiyosaki makes is that the lower and middle classes work for their money, whereas the wealthy have money work for them.

Learn how money works, then work out how to make it, independent of a paycheck. Look into how you can generate more income by investing your money wisely. And don’t give the financial power to your employer, but rather keep the power by taking control of your money and making it work for you.

3. BE BRAVE AND DON’T BE SCARED TO FAIL

Most people never win because they’re afraid of losing or failing. However, we often learn and improve by making mistakes, and failure is often part of the process of becoming successful. You don’t have to be ridiculously intelligent to have financial success.

While Kiyosaki’s father had multiple qualifications, his best friend didn’t have a proper education. A degree cum laude won’t necessarily make you wealthy if you don’t have guts and an understanding of how money works too. Generating wealth sometimes involves taking risks and dealing with a level of uncertainty. The trick is to be clever about when and how to take risks, by being savvy and learning from your experiences to assess a situation, rather than dive in blindly. The path to wealth often requires you to leverage money to mitigate your risk and maximise your profit.

4. Become financially intelligent and literate

4. BECOME FINANCIALLY INTELLIGENT AND LITERATE

The biggest cause of financial trouble is ignorance because this isn’t taught in many education systems or societies.

Financial terms can be complex and daunting, but you can develop financial intelligence by reading about accounting and investing, and keeping informed about the markets. Kiyosaki believes that the cause of so much suffering is due to a lack of financial education.

Courage plus technical knowledge will take you far.

5. TRAIN YOUR MIND TO LOOK FOR OPPORTUNITIES

Look for creative solutions to any money problems. Maximise your options and work out what you can do to improve your financial position if opportunities aren’t falling from the sky. It is not so much a question of what happens to you, but the different financial solutions you can think of to turn things into opportunities.

6. FOCUS ON ASSETS OVER INCOME

Concentrate on your net worth rather than your monthly salary. Start acquiring assets — such as stocks, bonds, or your own company — to earn you money, as opposed to liabilities — such as mortgages, loans, or credit cards — which cost you money.

Build your asset column first, then buy any luxuries with the income generated from these.

According to Kiyosaki, you can measure your wealth by the number of days you can live off the income from your assets. And you can consider yourself financially independent if your monthly income from your assets exceeds your monthly expenses.

Making money is a question of mindset. Ensure you understand how it flows, and don’t hesitate to arrange a meeting if you need any help in applying these principles for financial freedom.

Poor Dad, Rich Dad resume

“Rich Dad, Poor Dad” 3 powerful lessons

When I read “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”, I took away three lessons on building wealth that I’ve carried with me through my life and career. I learned that most people work for money, but the rich make money work for them; and that it’s not how much money you make — it’s how much you keep.

I also learned that rich people acquire assets, but others acquire liabilities they only think are assets; and that financial struggle often comes from a lifetime of working for someone else.

I became a fan of Robert Kiyosaki . His book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” opened my eyes to the world of wealth.

Early in life I learned there are fundamental differences between how the rich think and act toward money compared to everyone else.

I began to adopt those same thoughts and strategies, and found them to be completely true. There were four crucial lessons from “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” that changed my financial life:

1. Most people work for money —

rich people have money work for them This lesson has become such a cliché that many consider it to be a myth. But it’s absolutely true. Talk to just about anyone about how to make money, and the conversation will inevitably gravitate toward jobs.

That’s not wrong thinking either, at least not early in your life. The first step toward building wealth is generating a basic income.

If you have no assets, and no skills you can sell to the general public in exchange for money, a job is certainly the most convenient way to produce a cash flow.

But the difference between rich people and everyone else is that the rich don’t stay in the job phase for very long. They realize early that to become rich, they need to become the people who hire others into jobs, and not a job holder.

By contrast, the rest of us typically spend our lives in the job phase. And we’re trapped once they believe that a job is the only way to earn money. That locks you into working for money for the rest of your life. But the rich learn the virtue of becoming business owners early. And running a business is, more than anything else, about learning how to leverage resources and people to earn more money than you ever could by exchanging your own labor for a wage.

For example, as a business owner, you can gravitate toward your talents — those skills and abilities you have that hold the greatest potential for you to earn big money. Once there, you can either hire others as employees or use subcontractors to do the work that generates the income.

Essentially, you become the overseer of the business, rather than a front-line worker. As the business becomes more profitable, you invest some of those profits into building your business and increasing your income.

2. It’s not how much money you make that matters — it’s how much money you keep

One of the behaviors that most separates the rich — especially the self-made rich — from others is the emphasis on saving money.

One of the fundamental obstacles for most people is that budgetary priority goes to spending.

Saving gets only what’s left over. For example, let’s say you have a net household income of $5,000 per month. After paying necessary expenses and a few luxuries, you have $250 left to put into savings. That means only 5% of your net monthly income is going into savings. And in many households, even that amount is swallowed up by unexpected expenses. In others, the amount seems so insignificant the savings effort is abandoned entirely. The situation is very different among the rich, particularly among those who aspire to become wealthy. Though financial planners may recommend saving and investing 10% or 15% of your income on a regular basis, the aspiring rich may save 30%, 40%, and even 50% or more of their income.

T. Harv Eker in his best selling book the secrets of the millionaire mind says ” Rich people are good money managers” the rich get richer simply because they know how to manage their income. This thought goes right to what Robert said in Rich Dad, poor Dad.

3. Rich people are smart workers

While some of us spend time working hard every day, rich people are just smart at what they do. The myth of our life is: Work hard, then you’ll become Rich. Rich people are not just hard workers, they are smart workers . Therefore they get richer and we keep getting poorer.

It’s time to make a decision to not only keep working hard but also to keep working smart because this is the best way to wealth creation.

There are more lessons I got from Rich Dad,Poor Dad book which I no longer stop implementing in my life.

Hope these lessons will help you as well!,

💎 could you please tell me what you really got from this article that you’re ready to implement in 2021?

  • Are you ready to learn how to make money will work for you?
  • Are you now willing to learn the basic skills on investment?
  • Do you really want to become a good money manager?

Life Skills to develop to become successful in 2021

Success has been an issue broadly discussed and defined by different approaches.

Some say that being successful means being wealthy. Others associate success with popularity and power.

A third approach would relate success with social and emotional well-being.

So we come to the questions: “When can be someone considered successful?” and “What skills make success easier to achieve?”

In order to answer the second question, we should have a point of view about what success is.

I consider that someone is really successful when that person is able to handle and enjoy social relationships.

A leader can be powerful and recognized, but if he is unable to enjoy his leadership and feels lonely because he cannot establish a deep friendship, can we really say such leader is successful? On the other hand, a wealthy person may have all the possessions money can buy, but again, what if he cannot manage a marriage or a friendship? This person is likely to feel lonely and unsatisfied.

Developing social abilities may be a very helpful skill for a person to learn, in order to be successful in the socialemotional side of his or her life. One ability to develop could be effective and assertive communication.

Many misunderstandings and conflicts can be prevented if we express our ideas clearly and respectfully, and if we learn to ask for clarification when we feel threatened or offended by something someone told us. Another ability could be learning to handle teamwork.

We need to learn to work with others at work, at home, at school, in our community. Getting into an agreement with our parents, children, coworkers and friends is a situation that can become hard to handle sometimes. Dealing with teamwork can be really helpful.

Finally we could add the ability to deal with conflicts with others and conflicts with our own wishes or decisions. We will always find obstacles in our paths; it can be quite useful to know how to overcome them.

In my opinion, I would define success as being able to enjoy what you have, what you do and who you deal with everyday. And to achieve success, you should have skills that help you handle relationships with your peers.

We are social creatures; we need each other to succeed, and to enjoy our success.

“It is never too late to learn” is an English proverb meaning that people should never stop learning all their life. In other words, life is a process of constant learning, which enables an individual to make continuous progress to perfect him or her as a human being. Therefore, I deem the ability to learn is the most important skill of a person in the world today to achieve any accomplishments.

We are living in an era of knowledge explosion. There are too many skills to be grasped by a single individual within a comparatively short period of time. Skills considered necessary nowadays include English, computer, driving, etc.

It is not very likely for a fresh college graduate to be proficient in all these skills. The most possible occurrence is that a person first chooses his field of profession and then starts to master those required skills in his field. Thus, I argue that the ability to learn new skills is more essential than the skills themselves.

Another reason for my avocation for the learning ability is that if a person is capable of acquiring new knowledge soon, he must be a smart, trainable and adaptable person who is what the rapidly developed society needs.

In a society fraught with new difficulties and problems, a quick-witted person, when faced with them, will come up with solutions more easily than those who only know “the skills.” That is why I believe the capacity to acquire knowledge carries more weight than “the knowledge” itself. In short, in a time teeming with many unprecedented events, the problem-solving ability or new knowledgeacquiring skill is the most crucial one necessary for a person who wants to be successful.

Nowadays people say that we have stepped into “The Information Age”, therefore computer skills are one of the most important skills in today’s society.

Being able to operate a computer is an advanced technique and can increase one’s work efficiency and simplify many works. Using a computer can help people do many complex works. You can calculate a very complex arithmetic problem. Many arithmetic problems in engineering are too complex to work out by hands.

A computer can do these works conveniently and easily. You can also look for some references from a foreign country from a computer if you login in the Internet. You can save your documents in some discs on a computer no matter how large they are and you do not need to take a lot of paper. Using a computer can increase your work efficiency. With its help, you can book plane tickets and hotel rooms for a business trip. You can easily compile your files in a shorter time and retrieve them whenever you need.

If you are an engineer, you can control machines automatically with the help of a computer. The products are more precise than those controlled by hands and the product efficiency is higher.

You can save a lot of time to consider other things and this is important for your success. If you can operate a computer, you can sit down in your own home and control distant work.

All you need to do is pressing some keys. With the help of a computer, your work can be simplified. You also can use a computer to communicate with your friends by e-mails and it is quicker and safer than ordinary means.

There are many other skills a person should learn to be successful, but I think that being able to operating a computer is the most important.

WAYS TO READ BOOKS AND PRACTICE EVERYTHING

There are many benefits to reading more books , but perhaps my favorite is this: A good book can give you a new way to interpret your past experiences.

Whenever you learn a new mental model or idea, it’s like the “software” in your brain gets updated. Suddenly, you can run all of your old data points through a new program.

You can learn new lessons from old moments. As Patrick O’Shaughnessy says, “Reading changes the past.” Of course, this is only true if you internalize and remember insights from the books you read.

Knowledge will only compound if it is retained. In other words, what matters is not simply reading more books, but getting more out of each book you read.

Gaining knowledge is not the only reason to read, of course. Reading for pleasure or entertainment can be a wonderful use of time, but this article is about reading to learn. With that in mind, I’d like to share some of the best reading comprehension strategies I’ve found.

1. Quit More Books

It doesn’t take long to figure out if something is worth reading. Skilled writing and high-quality ideas stick out. As a result, most people should probably start more books than they do.

This doesn’t mean you need to read each book page-by-page. You can skim the table of contents, chapter titles, and subheadings. Pick an interesting section and dive in for a few pages. Maybe flip through the book and glance at any bolded points or tables. In ten minutes, you’ll have a reasonable idea of how good it is. Then comes the crucial step:

Quit books quickly and without guilt or shame. Life is too short to waste it on average books.

The opportunity cost is too high. There are so many amazing things to read. I think Patrick Collison, the founder of Stripe, put it nicely when he said, “Life is too short to not read the very best book you know of right now.” Here’s my recommendation: Start more books. Quit most of them. Read the great ones twice.

2. Choose Books You Can Use

Instantly One way to improve reading comprehension is to choose books you can immediately apply. Putting the ideas you read into action is one of the best ways to secure them in your mind. Practice is a very effective form of learning .

Choosing a book that you can use also provides a strong incentive to pay attention and remember the material. That’s particularly true when something important hangs in the balance. If you’re starting a business, for example, then you have a lot of motivation to get everything you can out of the sales book you’re reading. Similarly, someone who works in biology might read The Origin of Species more carefully than a random reader because it connects directly to their daily work.

Of course, not every book is a practical, how-to guide that you can apply immediately, and that’s fine. You can find wisdom in many different books. But I do find that I’m more likely to remember books that are relevant to my daily life. 3. Create Searchable Notes Keep notes on what you read. You can do this however you like. It doesn’t need to be a big production or a complicated system. Just do something to emphasize the important points and passages. I do this in different ways depending on the format I’m consuming.

I highlight passages when reading on Kindle. I type out interesting quotes as I listen to audiobooks. I dog-ear pages and transcribe notes when reading a print book. But here’s the real key: store your notes in a searchable format. There is no need to leave the task of reading comprehension solely up to your memory. I keep my notes in Evernote .

I prefer Evernote over other options because 1) it is instantly searchable, 2) it is easy to use across multiple devices, and 3) you can create and save notes even when you’re not connected to the internet.

Of course, your notes don’t have to be digital to be “searchable.” For example, you can use Post-It Notes to tag certain pages for future reference. As another option, Ryan Holiday suggests storing each note on an index card and categorizing them by the topic or book.

The core idea is the same: Keeping searchable notes is essential for returning to ideas easily. An idea is only useful if you can find it when you need it.

4. Combine Knowledge Trees

One way to imagine a book is like a knowledge tree with a few fundamental concepts forming the trunk and the details forming the branches. You can learn more and improve reading comprehension by “linking branches” and integrating your current book with other knowledge trees.

For example: ● While reading The Tell-Tale Brain by neuroscientist V.S. Ramachandran, I discovered that one of his key points connected to a previous idea I learned from social work researcher Brené Brown.

● In my notes for The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck , I noted how Mark Manson’s idea of “killing yourself” overlaps with Paul Graham’s essay on keeping your identity small .

● As I read Mastery by George Leonard, I realized that while this book was about the process of improvement, it also shed some light on the connection between genetics and performance. I added each insight to my notes for that particular book. Connections like these help you remember what you read by “hooking” new information onto concepts and ideas you already understand.

As Charlie Munger says, “If you get into the mental habit of relating what you’re reading to the basic structure of the underlying ideas being demonstrated, you gradually accumulate some wisdom.” When you read something that reminds you of another topic or immediately sparks a connection or idea, don’t allow that thought to come and go without notice.

Write about what you’ve learned and how it connects to other ideas.

5. Write a Short Summary

As soon as I finish a book, I challenge myself to summarize the entire text in just three sentences. This constraint is just a game, of course, but it forces me to consider what was really important about the book. Some questions I consider when summarizing a book include:

● What are the main ideas?

● If I implemented one idea from this book right now, which one would it be?

● How would I describe the book to a friend? In many cases, I find that I can usually get just as much useful information from reading my one-paragraph summary and reviewing my notes as I would if I read the entire book again. If you feel like you can’t squeeze the whole book into three sentences, consider using the Feynman Technique. The Feynman Technique is a note-taking strategy named after the Nobel Prize-winning physicist Richard Feynman. It’s pretty simple:

Write the name of the book at the top of a blank sheet of paper, then write down how you’d explain the book to someone who had never heard of it. If you find yourself stuck or if you see that there are holes in your understanding, review your notes or go back to the text and try again. Keep writing it out until you have a good handle on the main ideas and feel confident in your explanation. I’ve found that almost nothing reveals gaps in my thinking better than writing about an idea as if I am explaining it to a beginner. Ben Carlson, a financial analyst, says something similar, “I find the best way to figure out what I’ve learned from a book is to write something about it.”

6. Surround the Topic

I often think of the quote by Thomas Aquinas, “Beware the man of a single book.” If you only read one book on a topic and use that as the basis for your beliefs for an entire category of life, well, how sound are those beliefs? How accurate and complete is your knowledge? Reading a book takes effort, but too often, people use one book or one article as the basis for an entire belief system.

This is even more true (and more difficult to overcome) when it comes to using our one, individual experience as the basis for our beliefs. As Morgan Housel noted, “Your personal experiences make up maybe 0.00000001% of what’s happened in the world but maybe 80% of how you think the world works. We’re all biased to our own personal history.” One way to attack this problem is to read a variety of books on the same topic. Dig in from different angles, look at the same problem through the eyes of various authors, and try to transcend the boundary of your own experience.

7. Read It Twice

I’d like to finish by returning to an idea I mentioned near the beginning of this article: read the great books twice.

The philosopher Karl Popper explained the benefits nicely, “Anything worth reading is not only worth reading twice, but worth reading again and again.

If a book is worthwhile, then you will always be able to make new discoveries in it and find things in it that you didn’t notice before, even though you have read it many times.” Additionally, revisiting great books is helpful because the problems you deal with change over time. Sure, when you read a book twice maybe you’ll catch some stuff you missed the first time around, but it’s more likely that new passages and ideas will be relevant to you.

It’s only natural for different sentences to leap out at you depending on the point you are at in life. You read the same book, but you never read it the same way. As Charles Chu noted, “I always return home to the same few authors. And, no matter how many times I return, I always find they have something new to say.”

Of course, even if you didn’t get something new out of each reading, it would still be worthwhile to revisit great books because ideas need to be repeated to be remembered. The writer David Cain says, “When we only learn something once, we don’t really learn it—at least not well enough for it to change us much. It may inspire momentarily, but then becomes quickly overrun by the decades of habits and conditioning that preceded it.” Returning to great ideas cements them in your mind. Nassim Taleb sums things up with a rule for all readers: “A good book gets better at the second reading. A great book at the third. Any book not worth rereading isn’t worth reading.” Where to Go From Here Knowledge compounds over time. “Learning one new idea won’t make you a genius, but a commitment to lifelong learning can be transformative.” One book will rarely change your life, even if it does deliver a lightbulb moment of insight. The key is to get a little wiser each day.

Do you now have a complete idea of how reading books can change your life?

The idea is to create new habits that can boost your mental attitude towards what you want in Life. My goal to write this article is to help you become the best version of yourself by simply reading books that fit your passion. Moreover, I’m going to help you develop serval habits so that you can practice what you read every day. Are you now ready?

How to Improve Your Life in 2021

The Power of Small Actions Imagine what life would be like if you began each day with small actions that created a chain reaction of positive benefits throughout your life.

You eat a healthy breakfast, have a great conversation with your loved ones, and then begin your workday focusing on the important tasks. Then, throughout the day, you complete other habits that positively impact your top goals. I guarantee you’d feel more fulfilled, get more accomplished, and have a better direction for your career.

All of this can be possible when you focus on small actions that relate to your important goals. These habits don’t require much effort. In fact, most only take five minutes or less to complete. But they have a powerful compounding effect if you repeat them often enough. This can include making a healthy drink, writing a loving message to a loved one, or identifying three important tasks to work on first thing in the morning.

Do any of these repeatedly and you’ll notice a vast improvement in your health, relationships, and work productivity.

Think of what your life would be like if your entire day was filled with these small actions. Wouldn’t your life improve without a whole lot of effort? I bet it would! A Five-Minute Exercise to Transform Your Relationships It’s easy to disregard the power of small actions.

You might think that a simple task can’t make a difference in your life. If you feel this way, then I challenge you to complete a simple exercise that, coincidentally, only requires five minutes of your time. Right now, there is someone in your life who you love with all your heart. This could be a spouse, romantic partner, parent, child, or close friend. He or she means the world to you, but maybe you haven’t said that lately. Right now (or sometime today), I want you to tell this person that you love them. The method for doing this is up to you. It could be on the phone, in person, or through a short note.

Heck, you could even send a text message if you’re shy about how this message will be received. Simply tell this person, in a few sentences, how much he or she means to you. I’m serious here.

You know what…? Small Actions can improve your life, you don’t need to focus on the small side of what you do because small leads to big…

With small Actions, you can:

  • Achieve your goals in life
  • Become a good leader
  • Deal with your time well
  • etc

However, small Actions are not enough. You should also do everything in a positive way. Take a full responsibility for what you do, and give a positive response to any event of life because while taking those small Actions, there will be daily struggles, etc.

If you’re a philanthropist, Passionate about changing the world, start impacting the lives of people around you. Help one or two individual(s) to find their ways to freedom, then you’ll be able to reach more people.

If you’re Passionate about reading books, start taking small Actions every day by reading one or two pages per day. Then, when you find that you’ve mastered the habit of reading one or two pages, you can begin reading more pages until you become the best bookworm who can read up to 30 pages per day.

Tips on how to start taking small Actions:

1. Know where you want to go with your life

2. Find your passion

3. Have at least one goal

4. Break it down into small tasks

5. Focus on your actions towards achieving it

You see now…?

You cannot make a change if you don’t know where you want to go with your life(vision). When you know where to go, then you should also find what you’re Passionate about doing that might lead you to get to your vision in life.

Let me help you with this:

My vision was to live a harmonious and loving lifestyle and I chose my passion to teach and inspire people to freely achieve their goals in a harmonious and loving way as I do.

As I already know my life vision and what I’m passionate about, what’s more I have a goal which is broken down into small tasks that I perform every day, I can feel that I’m on the right track to be who I chose to longtime ago.

Can you do it now as well?

Take a sheet of paper and do the following:

1. Ask yourself:

  • What do you really want in life?
  • What are you Passionate about doing to get it?
  • How would your life look like five years from now?

2. Get up from bed early morning and think about ways to make a change through what you’ve just written.

3. Find a coach or Success mentor for guidance

4. Then start with small Actions every day. ..

Coach Jay,

Why poverty is not a blessing

In this blog, I want to lay a solid foundation addressing the morality of what we usually say about being poor. We all are living in a world of Proverty, but the problem is to know if Proverty is a blessing or a choice. However, let’s first understand three concepts that will guide us:         Proverty, Blessing and Choice.

Poverty is any deficiency of elements or resources that are needed or desired. As far as I’m concerned, I usually say that Poverty is a lack of creativity.

Blessing is some kind of divine or supernatural and, or reward.

Blessing is an option; a decision; an opportunity to choose or select something. Now, that we’ve just defined our three concepts, let’s find out the exact answer to the question: ” Is Poverty a blessing or a choice” It’s my hope and prayer that this article will spart a movement that will end the gruesome of statistics of Proverty and lack in your life. I strongly recommend that you read this article through carefully if you want to find out two principles that hold you back from achieving your success goals.

A friend of mine once invited me for a dinner party. He invited me because he wanted to get my opinion regarding what he was actually facing in life. Then he let me know something very shocking. I tried to ask him what he truly wanted, he said he wanted to build a solid business, but he didn’t have enough money to achieve his goal. As soon as I knew what he wanted and why he didn’t achieve it the way he wanted, I went on asking him how much money he needed so that he could launch his business. He proudly replied: Jay, I already have $500, but I still need to make $5.000 so that I can build my business well. I bowed my head and said he was right, but I couldn’t stop asking him since I knew that he was driven by greed. I tried to know why he needed more money while he had already got $500 which he could use first to build a small business before trying to think about building a solid (big) business. He said he had no idea what to do with $500 since he needed more money.

Do You see how shocking this story is!! We need more in life, but we seem to have forgotten that God only promised to meet our needs, not to satiate our greed. Greed makes us want more than we can handle, it makes us heap up things until we have to acquire more living space just to keep it all. My friend didn’t achieve his goal because he wanted more than what he already had. That’s greed.

Greed is pervasive within the western culture ( As well as most of the leadership of the developing world, especially in Africa where almost 75% of people are poor). The sad reality is that greed is vigorously promoted from the pulpit and by those who are supposed to be the pillar of Truth and justice in society. There are even families where everyone is not satisfied with the little they have. All they want is to get more everyday. This greed concept is imprinted everywhere in society, therefore ” The poor get poorer and the rich get richer” .

I’m sure that you now understand the first reason most of us are still poor. It’s simply because we want more “Greed” which is a selfish or excessive desire for more than is needed or deserved, especially of money, wealth, food or other possessions. Principal one :  Greed

The second principal is “management” Lots of people need more than what they already have, they no longer focus on managing the little they have but all they want is to acquire more. The principal of Management tells us to be productive. We all want to get more money, beautiful houses etc, while we’re not productive. Go back to the story of my friend who wanted more money to build a solid business while he already had $500 at his disposal. He did nothing with this amount of money, but wait until he could make $5.000.

Poverty is the absence of self production, poor people are non productive ones. Poverty appears when you stop producing the little you have now.

You get what you can manage

What did you do with the amount of money you recently got ? ( No matter how small capital it was)

Lots of people usually want to own beautiful houses, but the houses they are renting, they keep them dirty. Let’s now answer our question: “Is Poverty a blessing or a choice”? Only you can tell! But I believe that Poverty is simply a choice.

We are poor not because we were blessed to be so but because we chose to be so. The world is filled with people with great ideas but only a few people with great fortunes from those ideas. If you want to be among the people who have  great ideas that produce great fortunes, you need to learn to get rid of greed concept and imprint the principal of Management in everything you can do. Open Your mind to the possibilities

Opening your mind to the possibilities requires getting to know how your mind works. A closed mind is the most dangerous part of human beings. This blog will help you choose an open mind to make sure you get whatever you want in life.

  • Do You dream of being a CEO of large company?
  • What is exactly your goal?

To get what you always want, you must first have one thing that all Successful people have . It’s Determination!

Being successful is a two-part process : Determination and belief. Both of which begin in the mind, but you must first hava clear idea of what you want in life, otherwise you get whatever is leftover.

So, get ready to open yourself to the opportunities to succeed in any way you desire. You can be anything at anytime, but you only need to open your mind to the possibilities.

If You change your mind ,your life changes too. The first and most important element of success is to open your mind. You don’t need to have a closed mind because it seals off creative solutions and it eliminates any possibility for new opportunities. It also creates :

  • Constant struggle
  • Constant conflicts and obstacles
  • Remorse of not doing or having anything you truly want

A closed mind usually creates verbal programmings, such as:

  • You don’t deserve to be successful
  • You are stupid
  • Money makes money
  • You are not an expert
  • Etc

There are more programmings, you only can tell! But What are you supposed to do to get rid of a closed mind? All you need to do to be on your path is to open your mind. When you truly open your mind, all the past programmings disappear.
